We all know that regular exercise is the key to good health,
but apparently too much of it can also do harm. According
to two new recent studies, too much exercise can be too dangerous and can give
you heart problem that might lead to stroke.
One decade long research that was published in heart journal
looked at more than 1000 patients that was
diagnosed with heart disease. Of course,
the least physical one’s are found out to be two times more to develop heartattack
or stroke compared to those who are physically active, but the most alarming
concern that german researcher’s found out was that those who engaged in strenuous
exercise was twice more likely to die of heartattack or stroke compared to
those people that do moderate exercise.
Older people shoudn’t be the only one who should be aware of
this information. Younger one’s are also in danger of developing heart problem if
they are regularly doing strenuous exercise. The argument was backuped by the
second research that was also published by heart journal. Swedish researchers periodically
record the study with 44,ooo participants for over twelve years. They found out
that people who exercise for more than five hours a week have nineteen percent more
likely to develop irregular heart rhythm than those people who do exercise
moderately.
According to medical news today, people who aged more than sixty
and perform less intense exercise like walking will thirteen percent less likely to develop heart
condtion compared to people that do not do exercise at all
Saying this, Center for DiseaseControl and Prevention point
out that more exercise means more health benefits, however even if exercise is
proven to be beneficial to human health, you lose this benefits when you prolong
and do extensive exercise.
A medical professional mentioned about an org named American
Heart Asscioation that post exercise guidelines to their website about their recommended
exercise which are half hour of moderate cardio five days a week and moderate
